At Motus Health, physiotherapy is what we do best. We have worked hard since our formation to deliver patient and community focused physio in clinics that have a diverse range of physios to ensure we’re all learning and advancing our clinical skills.
Each of the Motus Health clinics are supported by a local manager, and the wider Motus Health team. Together, we provide our physios with strong clinical governance, training, and commercial leadership.
We’re proudly New Zealand owned and operated, with a vision to build on our founders’ legacy of the last 20 years to continue to help Kiwis Live Active. If this inspires you, come and join us!
This is a two-year programme which involves working clinically within one of the Motus Health clinics, and being under the direct supervision of a senior colleague.
There will be weekly mentoring sessions with your supervisor who in turn will be overseen by our Clinical Governance and Education Team. You will take part in monthly in-service training sessions with the other new graduates under the supervision of a Masters-qualified clinician.
In addition to this each clinic will hold its own monthly in-service education session and you will be actively participating in presenting some of these. Motus Health has numerous contacts with various sporting teams and organisations, and for those new graduates interested in the field of sports medicine there are ample opportunities to be involved.
Motus Health offers a competitive salary package for the first two years of our graduate programme and beyond.
Contact us at hr@motushealth.co.nz to start the application process.
Being with Motus Health, is more than just a job. We believe excellent outcomes for our patients start with great teams of well supported professionals. We place significant emphasis on offering up-to-date resources, mentoring, development opportunities, and clinical exposure.
Our guaranteed base salary, generous ongoing professional development allowance, comprehensive in-service program, and mentoring with postgraduate qualified colleagues offers a unique experience for physiotherapists looking for that something extra.
Contact us at hr@motushealth.co.nz for a confidential conversation.
Ahead of your appointment, we’ll invite you to fill out a secure online form which tells us a little about your needs, and enables you to consent to be treated. It’s ok if you prefer to do this at the clinic – just arrive 5 minutes earlier than planned.
Once you’re greeted by your physio, they’ll ask about your injury or issue, your pain levels, your goals and more. At Motus Health we pride ourselves on taking a holistic approach to your care, so your physio will also be asking some general health and wellbeing questions if appropriate.
Next, your physio will do some functional movement testing to assess your issue, and all this information helps us determine a diagnosis and a treatment plan that helps you achieve your goals. We are more than happy to answer any and all questions you have along the way.
If you’re wanting to manage or rehabilitate an injury, improve movement or physical function, reduce pain, or rehabilitate after surgery, then physiotherapy is for you.
We carefully diagnose the problem and design an individual care plan for you to help you get back to your best.
Part of a great physio experience is us fully understanding your situation. Physio is not only centred around injury. Maybe you’ve come to see a physio because you want to run faster, throw further or jump higher.
